What does it take to turn expertise into impact and create an environment where people can truly grow?

In this edition of Voices of AMMEGA, we bring together two perspectives: Luana Barra, Global Application Engineering & Drive Design Manager Power Transmission, and Anna Multan, HR Manager at Katowice BSC. From engineering to people development, their stories highlight how collaboration, values, and continuous learning shape everyday work at AMMEGA.

What does your role at AMMEGA look like on an everyday basis?

Luana Barra:

The main focus of my role can be summarised as acting as the technical interface to customers for the development of new solutions. This means, alongside other responsibilities, leading the team of resident engineers and delivering Power Transmission training sessions for the group. This is a dynamic role that requires a high degree of flexibility along with strong capabilities in managing priorities and handling urgencies

Anna Multan:

As an HR Manager, my daily work focuses on supporting employees and managers across different functions. Together with my team, we cover recruitmentonboardingperformance evaluation, and employee relations. A big part of my role is partnering with managers to navigate challenges and guide employees throughout their journey at AMMEGA.

Which AMMEGA values do you experience most in your day-to-day work?

Luana Barra:

My work is strongly aligned with AMMEGA’s I-C-A-R-E values, especially Customer CentricityAgility, and Responsibility.

Customer Centricity is essential: meeting customer requirements and providing tailored solutions to their needs drives our daily work. To achieve this, it is crucial to emphasise agility – reducing response times – while also taking full responsibility, as this is the key to building and maintaining customer trust.

Anna Multan:

For me, the values of Inspire People and Responsibility stand out. My role is centred around creating an environment where people feel heard, supported, and motivated. Responsibility means transparency and integrity in communication and decision-making.

What opportunities have helped you grow and make a difference?

Luana Barra:

One key opportunity has been mentoring and training new Application Engineers. The primary objective is the development and consolidation of solid competencies related to the product, processes, a structured methodological approach to work, and the transmission of company values, which are key elements for building a strong and sustainable career within AMMEGA.

Another has been co-leading the Lean In initiative, which allows me to contribute differently, supporting confidence and awareness, especially for women within the organisation. Through this, I hope to give back some of the value AMMEGA has provided to me.

Anna Multan:

At AMMEGA, people’s ideas and experience truly matter. The trust of the leadership team builds confidenceencourages knowledge sharing and creates opportunities for professional growth.

I work in the Business Service Center in Poland, which was created just 5 years ago and brings together different business areas like Finance, Procurement, ICT, HR and Marketing.

Each new joiner over the years has brought unique experienceknowledge and motivation which contributed to AMMEGA and BSC reaching important milestones. Being part of this journey makes us feel that we are contributing to something bigger and transformational.

You collaborate through Lean In despite having different roles — what does this bring?

Luana Barra:

Collaborating with Anna has been a valuable growth experience, as our different roles and approaches have proven to be true added value. This ‘diversity’ has allowed us to integrate our respective strengths, influence each other, and identify a more enriching path toward a shared goal, different from what each of us would have pursued individually. Thanks to Anna and the other Lean In participants, I could broaden my perspective by learning from experiences very different from my own and by considering alternative viewpoints. This exchange positively impacted my daily work, improving my approach and encouraging greater openness. I am truly grateful to have participated in this project, which I strongly believe is enriching both professionally and personally. I hope many more colleagues at AMMEGA will have the opportunity to benefit from Lean In Circles in the future.

Anna Multan:

Lean In is a great initiative, and I feel grateful to co-host a Lean In circle with Luana. Although we have different professional roles and working styles, they truly complement each other. We share common values of trust and support, which guide our small Lean In community.

This experience gives me the opportunity to listen, be inspired, facilitate discussions, and create a safe space where we can learn and grow together.

What makes AMMEGA a place where people can truly thrive?

Luana Barra:

AMMEGA stands out because of its highly skilled and professional people worldwide. But beyond technical expertise, the real added value comes from the quality of relationships — built on trust, cooperation, and support.

Anna Multan:

For me, it’s also about people. Every day, I see how teamwork, trust, and a willingness to help create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone can contribute and feel part of something bigger.

Looking ahead

At AMMEGA, different perspectives come together to drive innovationsupport growth, and build a strong, people-focused culture
