Sonja Hoeijmakers was appointed CHRO of Ammega Group and a member of the Group Executive Committee as of November 2020.
Sonja has over 25 years of expertise in businesses within production, trade and advisory. She has a very diverse experience within HR business partnering, HR Services, cultural development, organizational design, Finance & Control, M&A, auditing, tax and process optimization.
Prior to joining Ammega Group, Sonja was Senior Vice President – HR & Organization Development Europe & APAC at Outokumpu, Finland, a world leading stainless steel producer. She worked there for more than 12 years holding multiple positions within HR and Finance & Control.
Before joining Outokumpu, Sonja worked as Finance & HR responsible within a Fruit and Vegetable trading company and before that she worked for several companies in the production, advisory, auditing and legal business. She has also held a Supervisory Board position in the bank industry in the Netherlands.
Sonja holds a master’s degree in finance & auditing and has been certified as an auditor in the Netherlands. She is also a certified Business Coach and has finalized the Senior Executive Program at London Business School.
