Alessandro Gili was appointed Executive Vice-President – Chief Financial & Compliance Officer of the AMMEGA Group and a member of the Group Executive Committee in March 2020.
With over 25 years of automotive, luxury, industrial, and services industry expertise, Alessandro has hands-on experience in finance and financial services, M&A, business development, capital markets, organisational design, and process and system optimisation.
Prior to joining the AMMEGA Group, Alessandro was Senior Vice-President and Group Chief Financial Officer at Garrett Motion Inc., following the spin-off from Honeywell International Inc. of the Honeywell Transportation System business unit.
Before joining Garrett Motion Inc., Alessandro was Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Ferrari N.V. and President of Ferrari Financial Services, leading the Ferrari IPO on the NYSE and the Ferrari MTA listing and spin-off from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. (FCA).
From 2002 to 2014, Alessandro held multiple positions within the Fiat Chrysler Group and subsequently FCA Group, including those of Vice-President Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. In this role, he was in charge of the merger of Fiat and Chrysler and the FCA listing on the NYSE and MTA.
Before his time at FCA, he was Senior Project Manager for Innovative Redesign Management Consultants. Alessandro began his career in audit at Coopers & Lybrand.
Alessandro holds a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance and Administration from Turin University, and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Public Auditor in Italy. Alessandro also holds a Certification in Corporate Governance from INSEAD as IDP-C.
