Kino

Kinois a quality professional from Ningbo plant in China and member of the AMMEGA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. She states that everyone deserves respect, and every opinion should be valued. To foster inclusivity, Kino suggests actively listening, observing, understanding, and respecting the voices of minorities who have been ignored.

Kino gained valuable experience as a volunteer in West China, where she worked on projects to empower local communities and enhance their self-confidence. Kino witnessed the need to amplify the voices of marginalised groups, particularly women, who were often overlooked. Overcoming the language barrier was a significant challenge, as Kino had to incorporate the local dialect to communicate effectively with minority Mandarin farmers.

Through workshops and interactions with individuals from diverse backgrounds, such as drug abuse, LGBT, and Christian communities, Kino developed a strong interest in and commitment to Diversity and Inclusion. Kino’s experiences and dedication are appreciated values she brings to the AMMEGA.
