For another year running, AMMEGA has been awarded a Gold Medal for our sustainability achievements. EcoVadis is a rating agency that evaluates suppliers’ corporate social responsibility efforts. Using a comprehensive methodology grounded in international standards, EcoVadis assesses companies across four key areas: environmental impact, social activities, ethics, and supply chain management. The EcoVadis score (0-100) reflects the quality of a company’s sustainability management system at the time of assessment.
AMMEGA has been awarded in 2024 a Gold Medal by EcoVadis, placing our company in the top 5% of all companies assessed. The score went up from 75 to 78 points, actually, placing our company in the top 2%. The score received represents a sum of assessments made in different areas of our company in 2023, including environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. In all categories, we are happy to have scored over the industry average, highlighting AMMEGA’s excellence and standards.
The recognition of our ESG efforts for another consecutive year inspires us to undertake more initiatives and improve in all areas that strive for perfection. EcoVadis ratings are an indicator of a company’s reputation and whether they are a sustainable supplier worth partnering with, therefore increasing their importance.
