What is a cookie?

What is in a cookie?
A cookie is a simple text file that is stored on your computer or mobile device by a website’s server and only that server will be able to retrieve or read the contents of that cookie. Each cookie is unique to your web browser. It will contain some anonymous information such as a unique identifier and the site name and some digits and numbers.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect and analyse visitor data on our website. The purpose of this data is to provide the best possible user experience to our online visitors. A Google Analytics cookie cannot be linked to personal data and the cookie will be deleted once a browser is being closed. The data that is being collected will tell us more about session duration, pages that are being visited and about conversions that take place on the website. The Data Retention is set on 26 months. This is the amount of time before user-level and event-level data stored by Google Analytics is automatically deleted from Analytics’ servers.

How do I reject and delete cookies?
