AMMEGA is a global group uniting some of the leading brands in power transmission, conveyor belting, and fluid power: Megadyne, Ammeraal Beltech, Jason Industrial, and Green Belting. With operations in over 40 countries and a team of 6,000 dedicated professionals, we serve a wide range of over 50 industries — from food and logistics to packaging, automotive, textiles,
and beyond.

History of AMMEGA

AMMEGA was established in 2018 through the strategic merger of two global leaders in the belting industry: Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne. This union, backed by Partners Group, created a single powerhouse with the largest and most diversified portfolio of belting solutions in the world.

The legacy brands

Ammeraal Beltech, founded in 1950 in the Netherlands, built its name through innovations in lightweight conveyor belting, with industry-specific solutions tailored for demanding sectors such as food processing, logistics, and textiles. Known for its focus on hygiene, performance, and compliance, Ammeraal expanded rapidly throughout Europe, especially after joining Gamma Holding in 1990 and acquiring the company uni-chains A/S in 2008.

Megadyne, founded in 1957 in Mathi, Italy, has made its mark as a global leader in high performance power transmission belts, offering durable, precise solutions for industrial machinery, automotive, and medical devices. Its polyurethane belt expertise and global expansion, including key acquisitions in Europe, China, and the Americas, have helped secure its position.
